The Journey | Awakening | Back into the Garden

Beautiful Planet

If you were ever standing on the moon,
Looking back at this beautiful planet,
You could see just how rare and wonderful it really is.
Glowing like a precious jewel, in the sun's reflected light,
In incredible shades of blues and greens,
With the white clouds swirling around,
It would have to be the most amazing sight you'd ever seen.
And maybe then you could truly understand
When you're back on earth standing on solid ground,
This is the only place we have to call home.

And if you were a visitor from a planet
In some distant galaxy,
Looking down on this beautiful planet,
Wherever you were from you would have to be moved by
It's extraordinary beauty,
You might wonder how it can be
That human beings sometimes fail to see,
What a special place, what a treasure it really is,
And you might recognize
The delicate balance and fragility,
We'll never have another place to call home.

So if you are ever standing on the moon,
Looking back at this beautiful planet,
In all it's glory, glowing in unbelievable shades
Of blues and greens,
Well, maybe you can keep...keep that image in your mind,
When you're drawing your maps
And planning where we're going,
We will never find another place,
No, we'll...we'll never find another place,
We will never find a better place to call home

M-m-mmm, It's a beautiful planet and we'll never find
A better place to call home.
