Reflections

I love this message from Quado, through Carrie Hart...it's called, "Daring to Fall":

http://quado.com/daily_portion.htm#11-8-09

I have found various such "safe spaces" lately, where I am encouraged to stretch a bit, and try out new ideas. One is a local music venue that I go to every week; one of the longest running open mics in the area. The atmosphere is very supportive and appreciative. I love to have other musician's sit in and play music with me. It's so much fun! It doesn't always work out as well as if we spent hours rehearsing, but oftentimes it is quite amazing! And the thing is, you never know until you give it a try.

I suppose it's a bit like doing "Improv" where you find the spotlight on you, and you have to wing it. It does get the adrenaline going...: ) But somehow it adds something to the creative expression.

Years ago, when I was playing music with a band, I found it a bit disconcerting that they were always changing things. And I was always writing new songs, so there was always new material to work with. It felt a bit like going out on a tightrope when we had our gigs. But they were such wonderful musician's that I always felt safe to go out and try something new. I'm glad that I had that experience, and didn't get too caught up in having to have things a certain way. It was good practice for "living in the moment."

As Quado says, "This is your life and it should be fun and daring, a thrilling ride, full of surprises. So take a deep breath, step out and live."

Still catching up on various writings that I wanted to share. Lauren C. Gorgo's message from January 8 was called, "2010: The Year of Truth in Action":

http://consciousco-creationalcoaching.blogspot.com/2010/01/2010-year-of-truth-in-action.html

It is, as usual, the unvarnished, but humorous, truth of her own experiences of the energies, and input from her guidance as to what's coming. I found this comment quite interesting, and from my perspective, it sounds like truth to me:

"I was told by a starbeing once that ascension uses up to 70% of our vital life force at times..." No wonder we have been so exhausted. Hooray for the Rejuvenating energies that are flowing in...

I can't find where I read it, but I have had the experience on my days off of being in a state between waking and sleeping - sitting in a chair in a semi-meditative state, aware of time passing but not moving for hours. Perhaps it involves activity on other planes, and my physical self needed the rest and rejuvenation, but it is definitely a new development. I have the feeling it is a passing thing.

Many people have given mid-January as the "turning point" for things to begin to get easier. I am feeling that change as well. There has been a sense of peace underlying everything, even when there are challenges to deal with. Things have also gotten a bit weirder. Time has become a very strange thing. I have had the experience a few times now of going to a weekly event and feeling as if the previous week was just moments ago. It's very odd.

There are times when time seems to stretch and almost stop. It is taking some getting used to. I guess this is what it's like to be in the present moment.

I have found it necessary to simplify even more lately...sometimes cutting out something I would like to do for something that has a higher priority in the moment. Having too much on my plate becomes too stressful, and it is almost an instinctive reaction to let something go if it seems best. I am getting more conscious of how I'm spending my time, and careful about it, too.

It's easier now to be in gratitude for the simplest things. Gratitude begets more to be grateful for...wondrous things are on the horizon...

"Pass a philter from your eyes to everyone else’s
In a way the mouth knows nothing of,
For this is the way cupbearers always offer
The holy and mysterious wine to lovers." Rumi

I may have posted this link before, but it relates to the previous posting on the subject of relationships, or as Steve Rother says, "Relationshifts."

"...Let there be spaces in your togetherness,
And let the winds of the heavens dance between you.
Love one another, but make not a bond of love:
Let it rather be a moving sea between the shores of your souls...
...Sing and dance together and be joyous, but let each one of you be alone,
Even as the strings of a lute are alone though they quiver with the same music.
...The oak tree and the cypress grow not in each other's shadow." from The Prophet, by Kahlil Gibran

On Celia Fenn's website, there is an article from a new guest writer, Divine Harmony, entitled, "A New Paradigm of Partnership":

http://www.starchildascension.org/

She speaks on a subject that is the topic of our next "Awakening" Discussion Group at Hartland Library. And she puts into words, very eloquently, what I have been trying to find words for, myself. There is a new openness that comes with Awakening. Many use the word "Transparency." It brings a new way of relating, in general, and specifically, in partnerships.

There is also an article on the site from Navajo, entitled, "The Great Awakening." She mentions that marriage and other structured forms of intimacy will collapse. I think there will be changes in how relationships are expressed, but, for me, it isn't really partnership without there being some intention of long-term commitment.

Steve Rother gave a channeled message some time ago that we would be beginning to fall in love with people on a regular basis, and not to think that it meant that we had to have a romantic relationship with them. This comes naturally with the opening of our hearts. It can be confusing (especially if you've been alone as long as I have).

To some, this might seem to mean that we are moving into a time of the kind of "free love" that was engaged in in the 60's - multiple partners, and next to no commitments. That idea has no allure for me. I still am inclined to look for a mutually loving and devoted monogamous partnership, which, without Karmic baggage, leaves room for each person to be themselves...to have their own hopes and dreams and individual expression, as well as the combined expression of their partnership.

I would hope that this model means long-term commitment, as well as room for both people to change and grow. At least, that is the ideal that is most meaningful to me at this time.

Of course, there will be a collective unfolding of this energy, and how it unfolds will depend on our individual choices.

I have to end with a love poem from Rumi, "The Privileged Lovers":

In Celia Fenn's latest article on her recent trip to Jerusalem, there is a painting (toward the bottom of part two) that I found very moving. Her article is entitled, "The Peace that Passes Understanding - A Personal Journey into the Heart of the Divine Feminine and The Christ Consciousness in the Holy Land":

I have heard snippets of the story of Mary Magdalene and the red egg, but I hadn't realized that the Russian Orthodox Church has always presented a much different picture of Mary Magdalene than the Catholic Church. I knew this was true of the Greek Orthodox Church, who hold her in high esteem as one of the "myrrh-bearers."

I tried to find a link to just the painting itself, but was only able to come up with this link to a virtual tour of the Church. It's a bit dizzying, but, if you click anywhere on the image, you can have some control of the circular movement of the camera:

http://www.3disrael.com/jerusalem/church_magdalene2.cfm

There is so much information on the web now about Mary Magdalene, that it's a bit dizzying, too. I may have to do a book of my own to sort out what's what on that subject!...: )

And white, and singing sweetly,
And my Beloved shall welcome me home", from No Longer Derelicta by Noor, OMM Initiate

I wanted to return to the subject of sin, and karma, as it seems important to address the subject more fully. It's true that on the third-dimensional earthplane, there have been consequences for our choices. And in an expanded consciousness, I suppose you could say that that is still true. However, it is possible to step off the wheel of karma at this time. In fact, I would say that many of us have already done so.

What does it require to accomplish such a leap? First, a letting go of the need to keep a tally of transgressions, that is, forgiving everything and everyone, including ourselves, and secondly, to love unconditionally, that is, to love others enough to allow them to have their own beliefs, and their own reality without having to "fix" them.

Moving into multi-dimensional awareness brings with it a greater awareness of energies. You have a greater sense of the consequences of your own actions. Since we are still human, I don't think that it means we never again slip into a lower vibrational expression, but we are self-correcting and get back on track much more quickly. We tend to feel the repercussions instantly now, and so, there is greater impetus to be aware of what we're doing, and greater reinforcement of staying aware.

When you have expanded your awareness, you realize that we are all connected and you want to treat others with respect and love. You also expect to be treated with respect and love, and very naturally, begin to associate with people and situations that support that philosophy, and as much as possible, avoid what is not so aligned.

We have become Divine Humans, and we may now find it possible to love our human expression, while also integrating a greater connection with spirit. Perhaps the concepts of sin and karma will eventually fade away, as we more fully embrace our divine heritage.

Many who have had near-death experiences have related having a "life review" before a council of wise beings. And in all of the experiences that I have read about, it is not the beings that bring judgment. They are witnesses, in a state of unconditional love, to our own state of being.

The ancient Egyptian Goddess, Ma'at, was said to weigh our hearts at the time of our passing, and if it was as light as a feather, we were allowed entrance to heaven. We can let go of what weighs us down. We can forgive. We can love. That seems to be the magic formula.

I have been finding it difficult to make time for this blog for recent weeks, and so am playing catch-up. It's also true that it's been hard to find words to express certain ideas and experiences lately, and I hope that, eventually, that will be easier, too.

From Tami Brunk's January Astrology Timings:

"The recent devastation in Haiti is so sobering, so painful, and so difficult to understand. The cost has been tremendous for so many—and it may be that each of the souls who have passed on there have given us a tremendous gift of opening our hearts, of grieving together, of asking, how can I help, of directing our attention toward prayer and remembering our great connections with each other. This is the kind of gift Pisces can give. Throughout 2010, Jupiter will be moving through this sign, and humanity will be experiencing a much needed infusion of spiritual empathy and compassion, so that we can remember our Oneness and our great love for our human and more-than-human companions in this Earth journey."

Blessings to the people of Haiti, and to all who are working so hard to bring help to them. I believe it is true that this earthquake, with it's devastating effects, has also brought a planet-wide opening of hearts, and the awareness that we are all connected. I pray for healing and relief from suffering from the earthquake, and a long-term healing that will help to bring the people of Haiti to a standard of living that most of them have not yet known. May it be so.

I was delighted to find this link in my email today. Having met Lee in person a few years ago, and connected very strongly with his energy, I am happy to support the work that he is doing:

I am hoping that, at some point, he also returns to making music, as he is quite a talented singer and songwriter. Just one of my own wishes for 2010...

Uriel's monthly message for January is called "From Control to Surrender to Control":

http://www.urielheals.com/Messages.html

Seems an appropriate topic, as I was noticing how my two favorite "messengers" seem to be going in opposite directions these days. Are we now able to create more freely in our own right, or are we surrendering to Divine Will?

If we are merging with Soul and Spirit, as I believe we are, then we are also merging with Divine Will. It is no longer "out there" outside of us, it is within (where, in fact, it has been all along, and we are now simply remembering and reconnecting). It is expressed in our daily lives. It is expressed in feeding our bodies, in working, in playing, in relationships with others, in loving, in creating, and in being.

I was going to post their messages, but I don't feel like sorting it all out today. So, from Ram Dass, "As soon as you give it all up...you can have it all." Hm-m-m...and what if you're trying to give it all up so you can have it all...: )

Blessings to us all in resolving the dichotomies...Love, Bonnie

Many interesting topics covered in Jennifer Hoffman's newsletter for December 28, 2009.

http://www.urielheals.com/user/news_122809.htm

In the last section, which is usually devoted to the topic of Indigo and Crystal children (many of whom, by the way are now in their twenties and thirties), she speaks on the subject of "Dating Younger Men." This is something that has not really been widely accepted in our culture, though it has perhaps been made more so by the celebrity partnership of Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher and others.

I think there is something going on here that isn't really brought up in her column and that is that many of the vanguard Lightworkers were women. Though most of the early teachers and channelers were men, the seminars I attended a few years back were disproportionately filled with women. At most of them, I would say there were not even close to 10% male attendees.

I have mentioned before that it seems that the movement into new consciousness had to begin with women (or, to be more exact, those of feminine orientation) reclaiming their empowerment, re-opening and activating the energies of their Solar Plexus, the center of power and will. This is one step in rebalancing what we have experienced for, perhaps, eons of time, as very separate gender energies. The next step is where men (or those of masculine orientation) re-open and own the energies of the heart.

It is happening, it's just that there seems to have been a lag between the two efforts. Some women began the path of awakening as much as two decades ago. They have opened, cleared, activated their energies, and are ready to begin a life at a new level of expression. There are also some men who have been on the path for a number of years, but, percentage-wise, it is not yet at a level that makes it easy for an awake and aware woman to find a compatible partner.

Now, the Indigos and Crystals who are coming into adulthood, male and female, are already at a level of awareness that requires no (or little) rewiring and activation. And, for an Indigo or Crystal, energy is everything. And since this is the time when partnership is very important for establishing and unfolding the energies of the New Earth, women "of a certain age" are attracting younger partners because, at a soul level, this is what makes sense now. They are ready to begin a relationship that has no basis in Karma, and no residue of old belief systems around inequalities and inequities.

Eventually, there will be more older men who are expressing at a level of awareness that will invite equal-age partnerships. Until then, it might be expected that we will see more of the phenomenon of partnerships of older women with younger men. Our society has long found it acceptable for older men to have partners much younger than themselves, whether or not it was for reasons of energetic "resonance".

I have to admit that I was rather shocked the first time I became aware of this situation several years ago in my own life - and again, I haven't dated for the past nine years, so we're talking only about possibilities here. I couldn't imagine why someone half my age would be interested. And then, I thought it must not really be attraction, but something more like an honoring of one's open energies.

As I have become more honoring of my own process, and capable of a greater expression of self-love, I no longer see age difference as an issue. As long as we are talking about two adults, and a relationship based in love, then it makes no difference. Is there a soul connection? Does the heart resonate? This is what matters.

Jen Eramith's Akashic Transformations message for January is about Expansion, and a greater experiencing of the energies of the Divine Feminine:

http://www.akashictransformations.net/mc/page.do?sitePageId=53332&orgId=akt

It suggests also that practicing self-love is very important at this time, an idea which I would whole-heartedly second.
